What is the NBA Summer League* & Basketball Exposure Camps?

*SMWW's Career Conference is not affiliated or any way connected with NBA, or NBA Summer League Games, or NBA G-League

The NBA Summer League takes place after the NBA Draft.  Summer League is your first chance to see all of the NBA’s top draft picks take the court! The rosters feature mostly young players under the age of 25 who are new to the NBA or have been in the league for only a year or two. This year, the NBA Summer League is in Las Vegas July 7-17th, 2022. Las Vegas Summer League features all 30 teams, with each one playing five games. The annual event gives rookies, G League players, and other fringe-NBA players a chance to show their worth at the NBA level. The games are played on two gyms on the University of Nevada Las Vegas Campus in the Thomas & Mack Center. Two gyms are attached and you can walk back and forth between the courts to see both games being played. While the 2022 NBA draft has yet to take place, players like Jabari Smith, Chet Holmgren, Paolo Banchero, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren will likely be selected and, in turn, compete in Summer League action. You can register to be the first to know about tickets sales here. People attending the games include league executives, team owners, general managers, team scouts, coaches, agents, media, current and former NBA players from around the world...and FANS! Las Vegas becomes a basketball mecca with so many team representatives from around the world therefore Basketball Exposure Camps are very active in July in Las Vegas. Simply put, if you work in basketball, you are in Vegas in July!

Note: NBA Summer League tickets can be purchased at the door or online at nbatickets.com. Tickets go on sale in May 18, 2022. (We suggest buying online and in advance to avoid standing in line, in the heat!). Tickets are not included with the SMWW Basketball Career Conference. You do not need to attend the SMWW Basketball Career Conference to gain entry into the NBA Summer League Games.
