She is a leader in the growth of women’s football and is dedicated to building opportunities for athletes while developing competitive programs from the ground up.
Amanda played for Team Canada Women’s Tackle Football, representing her country at the international level and competing among elite athletes in the sport. Her playing experience has shaped her coaching philosophy centered on discipline, performance, and player development.
She has coaching experience working with running backs at McMaster University and Central Washington University, where she focused on offensive fundamentals, position-specific development, and athlete growth. Amanda was also selected to coach USA Flag Football at the Select Bowl, further expanding her impact in the development of the game.
Her professional development includes a fellowship in the Canadian Football League and two NFL opportunities through the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship, working with the Seattle Seahawks and the Cincinnati Bengals. These experiences provided exposure to elite coaching environments, advanced systems, and professional-level operations.
At Eastern University, Amanda has built the Women’s Flag Football program from the ground up into a nationally competitive team in just two years. In that short time, the program has achieved a 35–8 record and is currently ranked 11th across all divisions of collegiate flag football in the country, rapidly establishing itself within the national landscape. The program has also finished as Atlantic East Conference runners-up in back-to-back seasons, including hosting conference playoffs at home.
In recognition of her leadership and program success, Amanda was named Atlantic East Coach of the Year in 2025.
Amanda is known for her ability to build culture, teach systems clearly, and develop athletes at all levels. She brings a structured, player-focused approach to coaching and program building with an emphasis on long-term sustainability and success.
Through her work and upcoming course, Amanda aims to equip coaches with practical tools, systems, and frameworks to successfully launch and grow flag football programs.
Her mission is to grow the game of football while developing confident, disciplined, and high-performing athletes and coaches.
