Daniele Sauvageau
Canadian Women's Hockey Head Coach

Danièle is a true pioneer and trailblazer in leadership roles. She served the RCMP and Montréal Police Department for over 33 years.

She has participated in 10 Olympic Games as Team Canada’s women’s hockey General Manager, Head Coach, mentor, performance consultant and analyst. Her approach to coaching and leadership was instrumental in leading the 2002 team to a first gold medal finish in Salt Lake City for Canada.

Danièle has been involved as a coaching and performance business consultant most notably with the Canadian Olympic Committee in preparation for several Olympic Games including the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. As such, she is closely associated with the success of many sport federations.

She has supported and assisted numerous public and private sector clients in building a new vision and managing change to gain a competitive edge. She is a well-known figure in the media and is often asked to comment on developments in hockey and elite sports. She is currently CEO of the High-Performance Hockey Centre 21.02 and an associate professor at H.E.C. Montréal.
