The SMWW Sports Broadcasting Course was an excellent experience. I learned so much from my broadcasting class. I learned that I need to practice much more and I would have never realized that until later on in life if not for this course. This course also pushed me to reach out to the person who has my dream job (Victor Rojas) and ask him to interview me which he accepted. That is something I will never forget.

Having just completed the Sports Broadcasting course, I am amazed at how much I've learned in just 8 weeks! I've been able to Network with major league broadcasters that have been in the business over 20 years and spent time with them in the booth, which is an experience you just can't beat. Being able to see a broadcast firsthand, which reiterates what you've read in the learning material, just shows what a great job this course does in providing you with the necessary tools to succeed. I have come away from this experience, believing there is a career in broadcasting for me out there and I will take everything learned and definitely put it into practice and look forward to a bright future in sports.

SMWW Grad Covers Beijing Olympics:
SMWW Sports Broadcasting Grad, Don Oyao, had the summer of a lifetime reporting for KCXL Integrity Sports at the Summer Olympics in Beijing. Through his affiliation with Seychelles National Olympics, Oyao was able to travel the world consulting as a sports doctor and in his spare time, reporting on the games he attended.
For three months leading up to the Summer Olympics, Oyao covered events in St. Petersburg, Russia, Bologna, Italy, Cairo, Egypt, Paris, France and then finally the Olympics in Bejing. Every Wednesday, Listeners in Kansas City, MO heard Oyao's take on international competition and the events of the Olympic Games.
"SMWW Sports Broadcasting Program has allowed me to express much of my internalized sports knowledge through the medium of radio," Said Oyoa. "My love for sports and now my ability to share my passion and knowledge for sport has taken far and outreaching steps that I only had dreamed about, now it is becoming a reality."

Thanks to Brian Wheeler and Steve Nash and SMWW I have accepted a job as the radio voice for minor league baseball. The live audio chats and mentoring I received was unbelievable. If you want to become a sports broadcaster, do play by play, or work in sports radio, this course is a MUST!

SMWW is a unique educational system. In this time of economic chaos, students want to secure an education that will give them a return on their investment. Having been a former professor, I have designed a few certificates to try and enforce courses targeted at helping the student achieve success in the "real world". I have many times been let down because of feeling like a little ship on a big ocean. When I signed up for this course I really didn't know what to expect, I figured I would get some knowledge on how to do a broadcast and nothing else. 8 weeks later I have made some great friends and even have an internship with a local radio station. Thank you SMWW!
