Next time you go to a college football game, which hopefully is soon (fingers crossed), look around and observe all the people connected to the event. You can identify them by their upscale casual logo gear, polo’s and khakis are the standard uniforms.

They aren’t fans, they are hard at work. These athletic department employees have more than just a gameday role, these intrepid staffers work all year round to support the athletic endeavors of the university.

Marketing, communication, operations, recruiting, sales, sponsorship, compliance, fundraising, coaching - the list goes on and on and on for roles in college athletics. Simply put, It takes a lot of qualified people to operate the business of college sports.

Maybe this is you.

Maybe you want to be more than a fan, you want to be behind the scenes making it all happen.

You know what, I can’t blame you. I’ve been a college athletic director, coach, scout, and compliance officer and I loved working in college athletics, it is sports in its purest form if you ask me.
