Biography

Philip Nartey is a passionate advocate for athlete development and opportunity, currently serving as a Global Ambassador for Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW). Based in Columbus, Ohio, Philip brings a deep sense of purpose to his role, inspired by his roots in Kwabrafoso, a suburb of Obuasi, Ghana—a region known for producing football talent but lacking the infrastructure to support professional growth.

A proud alumnus of Opoku Ware School in Kumasi, Ghana, Philip later became a certified firefighter through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a devoted father, husband, philanthropist, and a man of faith, driven by the simple mission to make a difference in the lives of others.

Philip's journey into sports representation is deeply personal. Having witnessed firsthand how many gifted athletes in his community were left behind due to limited access and opportunity, he is committed to changing that narrative. After completing the SMWW Soccer Agent course, he joined SMWW’s global network to help athletes—particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds—navigate their paths toward professional careers.

As an SMWW Global Ambassador, Philip leverages his growing network, international perspective, and personal dedication to create pathways for emerging talent. His mission is clear: to open doors, elevate athletes, and ensure that talent, no matter where it comes from, is never wasted.
