New York Yankees Executive Director, Partnership Activation
New York, New York, United States
Alexa Klein, a Long Island, New York native, graduated from Concordia College in Bronxville, N.Y. in 2009. From a young age, Alexa knew she wanted to work in sports, and in high school and college, she sought out the experience needed to pursue her career, obtaining part-time work and internships with the Long Island Ducks and Brooklyn Cyclones over a six-year stretch beginning when she was just 16 years old. In addition to receiving valuable real-world experience, Alexa also geared her college curriculum and continuing education toward her future, earning a BS in Sports Management and Business Administration and receiving a Sports Business Certificate from Sport Management Worldwide.
After college, Alexa continued her work with the Brooklyn Cyclones, thriving in the all-hands-on-deck atmosphere of the Minors and becoming a trusted assistant in the club’s marketing, partnerships and game day operations. After two years of full-time work with the Cyclones, she joined the Yankees’ Sponsorships team, working her way up from Senior Account Representative to Senior Account
Manager in less than five years.
Following four-plus years at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, she rejoined the Yankees Partnerships Department, where she is an Executive Director of Partnership Activation, managing the Activation Department, all daily
responsibilities, and overseeing a five-person staff.
In her spare time, Alexa enjoys working out on her Peloton, listening to audiobooks, and most importantly, spending time with her husband, Brandon, daughter, Paisley (age 7), and son, Parker (age 6).
