Pavel Ghosh is a seasoned technology professional with a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Arizona State University and over 14 years of experience at Intel Corporation, where he has led the development of advanced automation tools for semiconductor test-chip design. With a strong foundation in optimization, data modeling, and complex systems, Pavel brings a unique engineering perspective to the evolving world of sports analytics.
Blending his expertise in tech with his passion for sports, Pavel has completed Sports Management Worldwide’s Soccer Analytics and Sports Analytics & AI courses. These programs have equipped him with the tools to analyze performance data, interpret metrics, and understand the analytical strategies behind team success—particularly in global football (soccer).
As an SMWW Global Ambassador with deep ties to India, Pavel is dedicated to expanding access to sports business education and data-driven career opportunities throughout South Asia. He understands the unique challenges aspiring sports professionals face in the region—where passion for sports is high, but career pathways are limited.
Pavel’s mission is to help bridge that gap by empowering students, coaches, and data professionals in India to leverage their analytical skills in the sports industry.
