Mariana Caballero Ordoñez is an experienced boxing promoter and sports executive, proudly serving as a Global Ambassador for Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW). With over 15 years of experience in the international boxing industry, she is dedicated to empowering athletes, growing the sport globally, and elevating opportunities for talent across Latin America and beyond.
Based in Mexico City, Mariana is currently a promoter at Miura Boxing, one of Mexico’s most prominent boxing promotion companies. Miura Boxing is known for producing elite-level events broadcast on TVC Deportes, DAZN, and ESPN+, and for developing athletes into champions both inside and outside the ring.
Mariana’s career includes leadership roles with some of the sport’s most influential organizations. As Operations Manager for Latin America at MTK Global, and previously as a Senior Competition Manager for the World Series of Boxing, she managed athlete scouting, global logistics, international federation relations, and strategic planning for Olympic qualification pathways. Her work has spanned continents and shaped the careers of numerous boxers worldwide.
Her dedication to athlete advocacy is further reflected in her academic and professional development. Mariana holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Tecmilenio and is a proud graduate of SMWW’s Athlete Management course, equipping her with key tools to guide athletes through the complexities of sports careers.
A passionate supporter of women's boxing, Mariana was also an Associate Producer of the upcoming documentary Rómpete la Madre, which highlights the stories of female fighters and her own role as a pioneering woman in boxing promotion.
As an SMWW Global Ambassador, Mariana leverages her vast experience, international network, and deep commitment to athlete growth to represent the values of SMWW. She actively supports aspiring sports professionals through mentorship, education, and opportunities within the boxing world and beyond.
