Soccer scouts need to know how to objectively scout players from youth levels to pro leagues all over the world. With this course you will learn two main things: how to professionally scout soccer players and improve your overall understanding of soccer club operations. Every successful business, including the business of soccer, has a success formula. This course will teach you the successes and failures of the most successful clubs in the world.

Tim Regan is currently Head of Scouting with MLS Club Side Toronto FC and is
also a US U-18 Men's National Team Assistant Coach. Tim is a former standout with Bradley University and was drafted in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft by the New York MetroStars. After spending 3 seasons with the MetroStars, Tim was released and signed with Chivas USA. After a successful season with Chivas, Tim was sent back to New York with the now re-named New York Red Bulls. Tim spent his final season in MLS with the Red Bulls. He played one MLS match with Toronto FC in 2008 after signing a ten-day contract. Overall, Tim played a total of 81 games over five seasons and left the league as one of the most well-liked players to pass through MLS.Tim’s hiring to Toronto as Chief Scout is the first step toward the club's establishment of a European-style scouting department.
Paul Molesworth
Paul is the current Chief Scout of English League One side Bristol Rovers helping
the club reach the Johnson Paints Trophy Final in 2006, followed a year later with a League 2 Wembley Play-off Final win and reaching a FA Cup Quarter Final in 2008. He began his scouting career working for Liverpool FC as Chief Scout for the Midlands area, a position he held for over 11 years. Paul has worked as a Chief Scout through all levels of English football including Swansea City, Port Vale, Kidderminster Harriers, Greenock Morton, Luton Town, Mansfield Town, Oxford United and Northampton Town. As a player Paul Molesworth was an accomplished left back making professional appearances for Walsall FC in England, Hamarun Spartans in Malta and AEK in Cyprus.
Matt Martin
Matt is a graduate of the SMWW Soccer Operations and Scouting course and is now a Regional Scout with New York RedBulls of Major League Soccer. Matt
began working for The RedBulls in 2008 after beginning his scouting career working part-time for The Scouting Network (TSN) of Birmingham, England. His position with TSN came on the heels of his completion of SMWW's Soccer Scouting and Management Course in fall of 2007. Matthew has written reports on players and teams from over 120 live professional and collegiate matches since 2008 and has also coached at the youth and intramural levels while serving on active duty in the US Air Force where he still serves as a Major. Matt is currently working as an inspector for the Defense Information Systems Agency Inspector General (DISA IG).
Mark WashoMark is the President and GM of the Washington Freedom of Womens’s Professional Soccer. Previously, Mark spent 17 years in MLS and is the former Executive Vice President for the Chicago Fire, Senior Vice President of the New York/New Jersey MetroStars and Senior Director at DC United. Mark is extremely well connected in professional soccer. If you want to work in Soccer Operations, Mark has the connections and knows how to assist you to succeed.
Chris Keeney Chris is the General Manager of Lone Star Sports and Entertainment (LSSE). Previously, Chris spent 13 successful years working in Major League Soccer with DC United, Real Salt Lake and culminating with his
