From 1980 to 2007 Ken Jacobs managed significant growth in Australian Cricket as CEO of Cricket Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. Ken was responsible for the management of an increase in participation levels from 100,000 to 185,000 across 1,100 cricket clubs in Victoria and a growth in revenue from $500,000 to $25 million. He was also responsible for the implementation of Cricket Victorias renowned local government and volunteer recognition programmes and the implementation of its first strategic plan. From February to May 2007 Ken was engaged by the International Cricket Council as Event Manager for the staging of crickets ICC World Cup in the Caribbean region.
Cricket Victoria is also responsible for the staging of international cricket matches in Melbourne at the world famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on behalf of Cricket Australia and during his period as CEO Ken was involved in the management and delivery of many international matches involving all of the major Test match playing countries - this included the iconic Boxing Day Test matches played at the venue each, the 1992 World Cup; and a host of one day international matches played at the venue.
Ken now manages his own consultancy business and has recently been engaged in the development of a strategic plan for a significant state sporting body, a national sponsorship agreement and equipment review to benefit cricket clubs and Associations throughout Australia; consulting work for one of Australia's leading national sports travel companies and is currently involved in the development and implementation of a new corporate Twenty20 cricket competition in Melbourne.
Ken is a qualified accountant (FCPA), the Australia New Zealand Sports Law Association and has an extensive network of high level sport, government, commercial and media contacts to ensure clients receive the desired outcomes. Ken was awarded The Medal of the Order of Australia on Australia Day 2009 in recognition of his contribution to cricket and the community.

Leena Moin Aziz - Guest Speaker
Leena Moin Aziz is Asia’s first woman cricket commentator and a true pioneer for women on the business side of cricket. Leena has commentated for over 8 years on test matches, one-day matches, and Twenty20 matches via television and radio. She started her international career with a match against Bangladesh for South Asian premier sports channel TEN Sports in Pakistan. Leena covered the last two ICC Cricket World Cups for television and radio as a cricket commentator and as a cricket analyst.
Leena has been on the Radio Pakistan (PBC) panel of English commentators for over five years including the Lahore, Pakistan test match when the Sri Lankans were attacked. In 2009-2010, Leena commentated the entire six test matches between Pakistan versus New Zealand and Pakistan versus Australia. Leena covered the series against the West Indies in 2006-2007 in addition to many other series, including South Africa versus Pakistan series.
Leena has anchored several pre and post match shows for Pakistan Television Corporation, (PTV) including the recent 50 over Cricket World Cup in Asia. In addition, Leena is currently the Sports Analyst for Dateline Pakistan, (Pakistan's leading live news show). Leena has over 250 columns to her credit, including the first internationally affiliated newspaper in Pakistan, the Express Tribune, in partnership with The International Herald Tribune, the global edition of The New York Times. Leena's goal is to encourage women to participate in cricket at every level of the game, on the pitch or on the business side.
Dr. G. Lynn Lashbrook
Dr. G. Lynn Lashbrook, President and Founder of Sports Management Worldwide, the world leader in online sports business management education.
