The Coaching at the Next Level Course is an 8-week online course that launches you into a better coaching future. Coach Wooden and Coach Krause
The Coaching at the Next Level course can't help you with sport-specific issues that you face every day, but it can train you to develop your philosophy, improve your resume, speak the language and prepare you to move to the next level. Each level of coaching is unique in itself. High schools require program development, colleges require recruiting and retention, and the professional levels require great expertise in scouting and skill development.
This course's main objective is to provide you with the tools to begin the process of moving to the next level, while you provide the work ethic and the passion. We examine the levels and issues of coaching in a new format to inspire creative solutions.
This course can be useful anywhere and everywhere in the sports world!
There are many places you can go to learn the latest offenses and defenses, the newest wrinkle in weight training or the other sport-specific details that you may require. This course offers a completely unique approach to improving yourself as a professional. As the title "coach" continues to grow in prestige, so do the expectations that come with the title. Each level of coaching has specific skill sets and requirements that are required for entry. Gaining that entry is often complicated and confusing. Don't pass up this opportunity to improve your ability to advance in your chosen profession.

Dr. Jim Krause, President of Winning Sports Programs and President of the Ultimate Indoor Football League, brings a wealth of experience to anyone wanting to go to the next level in sports administration. “Coach” Krause has a 25+ year coaching career with stops at every level. University coaching experience included basketball, football, softball, baseball and golf. High school stops included basketball, men’s and women’s soccer and softball. Krause was also a general manager of a professional soccer franchise that involved supervision of coaches, players and agents. Joining Krause on the University of Oregon basketball staff was Jim Haney (Executive Director of the NABC), Stu Jackson (League VP-NBA), Jim O’Brien (Former Celtic and 76er’s head coach) and Greg Graham (Boise State head coach). You will enjoy getting to know Jim Krause during his live interactive weekly audio chats throughout the 8 week course.
Dr. Lynn Lashbrook, President of Sports Management Worldwide has served at the collegiate level as a coach, scout, recruiter, athletic academic advisor, compliance officer, and athletic director. He was an Assistant Athletic Director at the University of Missouri, before becoming a Director of Athletics at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and University of Alaska-Fairbanks. He turned down the AD job at Western Michigan University so he could begin developing his own sports management company. As Athletic Director, Dr. Lashbrook improved athlete graduation rates, increased ticket sales, bettered school participation in athletics, initiated and successfully completed a Student Recreation Center, established the first ever NCAA athletic exchange with Russia, and achieved record levels of fundraising and alumni donations. During his administration he had recognized programs in collegiate hockey, football, basketball, baseball, track, and rifle. Dr. Lashbrook understands the importance of ethical leadership and power of the podium and bringing out community spirit through sports. In 1985, Dr. Lashbrook served as President of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics.
Dr. Lynn Lashbrook and Dr. Jim Krause are going to provide you with a non-sport specific opportunity to examine your skill sets, evaluate your strengths and weaknesses and determine your priorities in motivation, leadership and team building. You will finish the course knowing the routes necessary for achieving your dream job and the necessary personal priorities for taking that next step in this highly competitive profession.
