“Timmy wants to be coached. He wants to be coached to this day.”
The “Timmy” referred to above is none other than five-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP, and 14-time NBA All-Star Tim Duncan.
The quote, from his former assistant coach with the Spurs Mike Budenholzer, illustrates how even the greatest players of all-time yearn for proper coaching. And even if you aren’t currently coaching a future first ballot Hall of Famer, the need for coaches with the right skills is never ending.
If you want to take your coaching skills to the next level, this is the course for you!

Why You Should Take Our Coaching At The Next Level Course
Coaching is about much more than drawing up plays and orchestrating game plans. The true art of coaching is in the ability to get a group of people to stretch beyond their current abilities. Often this comes from a deep understanding of group dynamics and how to get the most out of a collection of people.
“The goals of this course are simple,” says Dr. James Krause, Coaching at the Next Level course mentor. “Students get a coaching foundation with the reading and assignments, get a specific understanding of what the qualifications are for the level they are aspiring to get to, create a final project that aids the professional goals and objectives and, have 100% access to me for as long as it takes.
“I have student working with me today that took the course 10 years ago. I open a window of communication for that opportunity and several have used it to their advantage.”
Coaching at all levels is focused on results, but results come in forms other than just wins and losses. Recruiting, fundraising, community involvement, sponsorship generation, graduation rates and leadership skills are just a few of the additional metrics used to determine the success of a coach.
“Anyone in coaching or wanting to be in coaching can benefit from this program,” informs Dr. Krause. “I have had people with no experience, youth sports, middle school sports, high school sports, college sports and pro sports take the class and get something out of it. I help move folks from assistant to head coach and level to level.”
In this one-of-a-kind class, we’ll team you how to become a coach strong in all areas of coaching and running a team including:

- Group Dynamics
