Need a qualified Scout? Need a Scout in a specific area?

At SMWW we train scouts in Football, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball,Hockey, Cricket and Rugby.  Each sport has it's nuances and specific technology. Scouting is a learned skill with specific player evaluation, player ratings, and in-depth analysis. We are proud of our SMWW graduates as they have worked long and hard to attain the "eye" to evaluate talent and write a scouting report that meets your requirements.

Where: SMWW scouts are located across the world, therefore we can produce scouting reports on players in a variety of magnifying glasscontinents.

What SMWW Scout can do for you:
Find a scout on the map, read their bio, and, look at a sample of their scouting reports. If it meets your criteria, you contact them and give them a "test" scouting project. They will jump at the opportunity to prove their skills.

Fees: COMPLIMENTARY
Why would they do it for free? Because these are new scouts with new skills trying to get exposure. SMWWscout is a directory of scouts who have met our qualifications. We think they will be up to your qualifications! We want you to find scouts that you trust so much you hire them!

How do you become a SMWW Scout?

Stirling & David Griffin NBA Summer League Conference Recap:
The NBA Summer League Conference on July 10th & 11th was a great success, with more than 150 people in attendance.  Everyone who came benefited learning from front office executives, sports agents, basketball scouts, sports media, and many more experts to promote their careers on the business side of basketball. Speakers included "NBA Executive of the Year" Denver Nuggets GM Mark Warkentien followed by Phoenix Suns Senior VP of Basketball Ops David Griffin who highlypraised Sacramento Kings Director of Scouting (and legend) Scotty Stirling who in turn honored former Golden State Warriors GM (and legend) Ed Gregory. Attendees heard about the huge opportunities in Asia from Beijing International Group Tom McCarthy, and United States Basketball Academy Bruce O'Neil.
A conference favorite sports agent panel consisted of Tel Aviv, Israel Sports Attorney & FIBA Agent Solly Laniado, (Sacramento Kings Omri Casspi), Goodwin Sports NBA Agent Steve Banks, (Detroit Pistons Rodney Stuckey), and VP of BDA Sports David Mondress, (Houston Rockets Yao Ming) shared their stories and did an insightful Q&A for everyone.  Mark Warkentin was quoted as saying SMWW Faculty Frank Burlison is the best high school basketball scout in the world! ESPN writer Marc Stein was stymied to hear Dr. Lashbrook predicts the Trail Blazers will move to Seattle. (But don't worry, Portland fans will get a new team!) And NBA summer league games at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion were once again a big hit.

RICHARD WHITEHEAD SETS NEW STANDARD IN AMPUTEE MARATHON RUNNING
(SMWW Client of UK Operations Director John Print)
Double legged amputee marathon runner, Richard Whitehead capped an amazing week by breaking the three hour barrier at the 2009 Rome Marathon (22 March 2009). (Pictured here with Tiger Woods.) His time of 2 hours 56 minutes and 45 seconds was the fastest ever recorded by a leg amputee.

Just a week earlier, Whitehead ran the Bath Half Marathon in a time of 1h 19m, two minutes faster than the previous leg amputee record.

On his week of achievements Whitehead commented:

"I am ecstatic to run a sub three hour marathon. To be the first leg amputee to do so is amazing.

"My training has been going extremely well this year. The advice and motivation provided by my coach Liz Yelling has given me the confidence, belief and strength to run faster times. After Bath I knew I had a fast time in me, but to finally break three hours in Rome was an awesome experience."

Being the first competitive marathon of the season for Whitehead, he believes that he can run faster, he continues:

"I hope that my time of 2 hours 56 and 45 seconds will give me credibility within the running community. My main ambition is to represent Team GB in the marathon at the London 2012 Paralympics. If preparation and training continue to go well and my times continue to fall, I may even be in contention for a medal."
