Why You Should Attend the 2017 London Sports Career Conference

"Go Global Or Go Home!"
That is the mantra of Sports Management Worldwide President and Founder Dr. Lynn Lashbrook, who understands that sports are a global industry. In fact, the two most popular sports in the world, soccer and rugby, are dominated by European franchises and are just now beginning their growth phase in the US.

Which is exactly why we are coming to the Brent Civic Center in London 30 September 2017 and we hope you will too.

Our Sports Career Conference features advice from top UK and US sports executives in soccer, cricket, rugby and US sports. In the past, we've featured speakers such as:

  • Arsenal COO Tom Fox
  • Manchester City Chief Commercial and Operating Officer Tom Glick
  • FIFA agents Sky Andrew and Colin Gordon
  • Soccer analyst and reporter Keir Radnedge
  • Wyscout's Richard Trafford
  • Tottenham Hotspur Head of Business Development Aidan Mullaly
  • Newcastle Falcons Managing Director Mick Hogan
  • Miami Dolphins Executive Vice President, Football Operations Mike Tannenbaum

If you want to start a career in sports or advance your current one, attending the SMWW London Sports Career Conference is the move you need to make. Find out who is hiring and for what roles, network with sports executives, and learn strategies to catapult your career to the next level.

"The conference provided an excellent opportunity to network within the international sports industry," says 2015 conference attendee Howard Hylton from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. "Real-time information was provided by speakers who are currently working in the field as scouts, agents, analysts, and providing a player's perspective. In short, a great career conference which I highly recommended."

Every major sport is in the midst of expanding internationally, whether it's football in London, basketball in Beijing or rugby in America, international growth is where it's at. With broadcast technology constantly improving and fan bases growing exponentially, borders don't matter, sports leap the boundaries. Which is why our London conference is such an important experience to take in, whether you live in Manchester, England or Manchester, New Hampshire.

"I gained a huge amount of information by attending the SMWW London Sports Career Conference," says Football Agent Tom Palmer. "SMWW organizes an impressive list of speakers who are all willing to share their advice and answer all our questions."

Sign up soon, this is a smaller venue so we'll cut off registration at 100 – this event will sell out so don't delay!
