Chris has a wealth of experience in the basketball industry accumulating over 22 years as a coach, scout, advance scout, video editor, clinician, consultant, writer, and administrator.  He started NetScouts Basketball LLC, “The International Basketball Connection”™ an advanced scouting service that brings players and teams together for playing opportunities world wide.  This season NetScouts produced over 1200 scouting reports on players around the country.  His network of contacts, overall knowledge of the game, and varied experiences make him a valuable asset to you as a potential NetScouts client.

Bio
 
Chris Denker is a 14 year veteran of NCAA Division I basketball coaching.  He was a highly successful Head Coach of the Santa Clara University and Colorado State University women’s teams.  In five season as Head Coach he amassed 96 wins and his teams reached the post-season NCAA Tournament or NIT in four of those five seasons including one NIT Final Four.  He set a West Coast Conference record as the first coach to win a league regular-season championship in his first year at Santa Clara.  In all, he was part of 5 WCC championships in 9 seasons with the Broncos.
 
Most recently Chris has coached professionally and internationally, serving as Head Coach and Director of Operations for the Eugene Chargers of the International Basketball League.  He was selected as one of the Head Coaches of the 2007 IBL All-Star game.  Chris spent the 2008 season abroad as Consulting Director and Coach of the Barnet BBC, London.  While in London, Chris and the BBBC implemented a basketball program to keep young men away from the growing gang problem in the UK, which was later received by the Metropolitan Police and introduced to the US Embassy in London.
 
Even before NetScouts, Chris has helped several players find playing jobs in countries such as Japan, Finland, Norway, Luxembourg, Holland, and various Minor League jobs here in the United States.  His Eugene (IBL) players have gone on to play in places such as Mexico, Chile, UAE, New Zealand, Belarus, ABA, PBL, and more.  If you would like to learn how Chris and NetScouts could help you achieve your goals, contact us directly.
