Motor Sports Mgmt. Course FAQ |
Motor Sports Mgmt. Course Instructor What people in the sports world are saying about SMWW's Motor Sports Management Course!I decided to pursue my passion by taking the SMWW Motorsports class. The course has taught me a lot and above all introduced me to a unknown part of the sport I've followed for so long, and the thanks to that goes to Motorsports facilitator Tom Blattler. With his mentoring I was able to infiltrate many parts of motorsports I never was able to be a part of before. I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to meet and introduce myself to such an inspiring and knowledgeable individual such as Tom. As busy as he is with the happenings at Indy Series and the ALMS, he has taken the time to invite and provide me with credentials to experience on a first hand basis the operations that take place at a race weekend. Along with this chance Tom provided me with the opportunity to expose myself to the shakers and movers of the sport, which in return hopefully will deliver an opportunity to join the industry. The Indy 500 is amongst the biggest events in the world of motorsports, and how beautiful is that one of your students had the chance to watch the race from the pit lane amongst the biggest stars in the world. That happened to me on Memorial Day weekend, and it is all owed to this course and Tom. It was a privilege to join both Tom Blattler and Jim Utter for the motorsports class audio chats every week from my computer. I wanted to say thank you for creating this opportunity. I believe I made a great investment in joining your educational institution and I'll be looking forward for the opportunities that SMWW will provide in my future objectives.Fabio C. Santos Chicago, Illinois, USA Taking the Motor Sports Management Course through Sports Management World Wide was the best investment I have made. Not only did I learn from the course materials, but I also had an incredible opportunity to learn from our instructors and the other classmates. Tom Blattler and Jim Utter are both willing to share their experience and knowledge in various forms of racing. Dr. Lashbrook has a passion for helping others and you can hear it in his voice on the weekly chats. My dream is to assist Race Teams, Sponsors and Race Series in growing their motorsports business. I don’t know that I would have had the courage to chase this dream if it wasn’t for all the great people I met through Sports Management World Wide. They are committed to my success. Thank you to everyone at Sports Management World Wide! Jeffery A. Lenz President Attitude Motorsports Marketing www.attitudemotorsports.com www.theracingscene.com The sponsorship and marketing aspects of this course have allowed me to define the skill set that I have been in the process of establishing over the past 12 months, in motorsport environment. Furthermore, my understanding of NASCAR has now grown, so I can now appreciate motorsport events and their inherent management practices, from different parts of the world. Mark Campbell Race Series Standards Official Commodore Cup Racing Series Melbourne, Victoria, Australia I learned a lot about the marketing side of Auto Racing. The sport is competive and SMWW gives you the advantage of learning to effectively find and achieve sponsorships. Glendon F Reedy Ii Mt. Crawford, Virginia Not only did SMWW give me the tools and information to put me on a strong course for my new career in Motor Sports, but they introduced me to professionals in the business that were able to give me great insight on the LIVE version of what I was going to be doing on a daily basis in my new job. The excitement and passion that SMWW brought out in me to chase a dream of working in Motor Sports Marketing has been a phenomenal experience. Amanda Stout Lowes Motor Speedway Concard, North Carolina I learned so much about sponsorship in the race industry that I did not know before. Now I am helping a fellow classmate with the race car driver that he manages. The experience has been great and I have met some of the neatest people. I look forward to working in the race industry.SMWW definitely made a dream come true! Tracie Lange Baraboo, Wisconsin Motor Sports Management is an excellent course!
