SMWW Has Moore To Be Thankful For in 2007(npi)!
It was ten years ago when I thought I was on the verge to sign my first
quarterback, Ryan Leaf, the number two player taken in the 1998 NFL.
Needless to say, I lost him to Leigh Steinberg. A year earlier I had been
inspired by the Jerry Maguire movie to develop an online course to train
future agents and start my own website. Before losing out to Ryan Leaf, I
had twenty players in the NFL when I was working with Jim Steiner and SMG.
My two top clients were Mark Fields and Brian Dawkins. In both cases they
came to me as a referral. The former academic advisor at Washington State
University, Thomas Mosby, introduced me to Mark Fields and his mother and it
was my idea to have Tom co-represent and assist Mark with him completing his
degree. With Brian Dawkins, it was my previous client, his older brother
Ralph, who was an undrafted free agent out of Louisville. Simply put, I
knew that the success I was enjoying was really all about relationships.
Ten years later and many trials and tribulations I am proud to say I
represent a NFL Starting Quarterback with our trained Agent Advisor, Joe
Aloisi. To no surprise it was Joe's relationship with Matt Moore that
sealed the deal. I guess the growth of our company,
SportsManagementWorldwide, can be attributed to my frustration of losing out
to Ryan Leaf and the inspiration of the Jerry Maguire movie, Moore or
less(npi)!
