BCSbusters Game Plan To Bring About A College Football Playoff System!

In my 35 years of service on college campuses as a coach, professor, academic advisor, compliance officer, and athletics director I am convinced the only way we will ever have a college football playoff system is when students demand it. I want to suggest the following six steps students could take to create a grass roots campaign to bring down the BCS and bring on a Playoff .

2. Purchase an official BCSbusters T-Shirt
3. At each college game at 2:10 remaining in the half begin to Yell Loudly a countdown by the clock 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 and then simply stand and turn your back on the game for the final two minutes of the half. Simply put, the TV cameras will take note and the broadcasters will be notified that the students turning their back is a Two Minute Warning to the BCS we demand a playoff system.
4. This will serve as a catalyst to write editorials to the student newspaper
5. Petition the Student Senate for a resolution warning the President and Athletic Director that if they do not go on record to support a Playoff System we will vote to have all students fees toward athletics be voted down for the next school year. In many cases this is millions of dollars. You are Stake Holders of you College Football Team. Remember when Presidents hide behind the excuse of missed class time it is just a smoke screen. Have they ever heard about online education?
6. Continue to bring students to participate in the campaign by having them register at BCSbusters.com. We will send out weekly updates on the successes of each campus campaign.
